About the party

Azure and Arlo After Dark present As Above So Below, a gothic Halloween party at Arlo Williamsburg, 96 Wythe Avenue in Williamsburg, Brooklyn, on Saturday, October 31. Doors open at 9 PM New York time and the night runs until 5 AM the next morning. The hook is vertical: three floors of the hotel each get their own stage and concept, from the Ballroom on the ground floor through the Library on the second floor up to the Rooftop on the third.

What to expect

Organizers promise a dark, multi-room setting with gothic-styled decor and upgraded production for this one night, and the ticket includes a one-hour open bar (the exact hour is not stated). The listing does not say whether costumes are expected, so treat dress as your call. Table packages can be requested by email. My take: suited to people who like to move between distinct rooms through the night rather than stay on one dance floor, and who want a party that keeps going until close to sunrise.

Music and lineup

Wes Mills is the only artist named, in the DICE description, alongside unnamed New York DJs; DICE's structured artist field is empty. No music genre is given, so the style is not confirmed. Which DJ plays on which floor, set times and the rest of the lineup have not been announced.

Before you go

Doors at 9 PM, with DICE listing the start at 10 PM and the end at 5 AM on Sunday, November 1, New York time. Entry is 21+; bring ID. DICE does not list door sales, so buy ahead. Re-entry, coat or bag check, elevator access between the three floors and the nearest subway are not confirmed.
