Privacy at YaY NYC

YaY NYC does not ask you to sign up. We measure visits with Google Analytics (pages viewed, rough location, device) to learn what is useful; it uses cookies. We also use Microsoft Clarity to see how pages are used (clicks, scrolling and anonymized session replays, with what you type hidden); Microsoft collects this data and it also uses cookies, as described in the Microsoft Privacy Statement. If you send a report through the contact form, we keep what you wrote and, if you give it, your email, only to follow up.

If you sign up for the newsletter, we keep your email address and the page you signed up on, only to send you our weekly email. The email is sent through our email provider, Resend, which holds the mailing list for that purpose only and handles unsubscribes. We never sell or share it. Every email has an unsubscribe link, and you can ask us to delete your address through the contact page.

"Near me" uses your location in your browser only to sort the list; it is not sent to us.
