YaY NYC image credits and takedown

Every photo on YaY NYC is published by its author under a free license that allows this use: Creative Commons CC0, CC BY or CC BY-SA, or the public domain. We never take photos from bar, club or ticketing sites, Google or Instagram.

Each photo comes from Wikimedia Commons and is shown with its author, license and a link to the original file. We serve a resized copy from our own site; nothing else is changed. Where there is no free photo, we show a map and the facts instead.

If you are the author or the person in a photo and want it removed, tell us which page and which photo. We take it down within 24 hours while we look into it.
