About the party

Project 91 stages a Halloween party inside the Surrogate's Courthouse at 31 Chambers Street in Tribeca, with Distant Matter as the featured act. It takes place on Friday, October 30, from 9 PM New York time to 2 AM the next morning. The draw is the building itself: a 1907 Beaux-Arts landmark with a sculpted facade and ornate interiors that still houses the Surrogate's Court of New York County.

What to expect

The organizer plans custom production and decor across two floors of the courthouse, with food and drinks on sale and an open vodka and tequila bar included in every ticket for the first hour, 9 PM to 10 PM. Costumes are encouraged but not required. My take: worth it for people who want a one-off Halloween in an unusual historic space, and who plan to arrive at doors for the opening bar.

Music and lineup

Distant Matter is the only artist named, in both the DICE description and its performer field. DICE tags the event as a DJ event, but no music genre is stated, no supporting DJs are listed and no set times are published.

Listed on DICE: Distant Matter.
