Friday, Oct 30 Halloween weekend with Nic Vans at Slate

About the party

Icon Marketing kicks off Halloween weekend at Slate NY, 54 West 21st Street on the Chelsea and Flatiron border in Manhattan, on Friday, October 30. The title puts Nic Vans front and center, and the night runs from 9 PM to 4:30 AM the next morning. Although the title says Halloween weekend, this DICE listing covers the Friday night only.

What to expect

The draw described by the promoter is the room itself: a two-level venue of roughly 16,000 square feet with polished architecture, pitched as a high-energy Halloween night out. The listing does not mention a costume contest, a costume requirement or any dress code. My take: this suits groups looking for a big Manhattan club setting to start the holiday weekend, rather than a lineup-driven night.

Music and lineup

Nic Vans is named in the event title only; the DICE performer field is empty and the description does not say what Nic Vans plays or in what role. DICE tags the event as a DJ night, but no genre is stated anywhere in the listing, so the music style is not confirmed. Other DJs and set times are not confirmed.

Before you go

DICE lists doors at 9 PM on Friday, October 30, and an end at 4:30 AM on Saturday morning, New York time. The event is 21+; bring ID, though the accepted ID types are not stated. DICE marks the event as not sold at the door. Dress code, re-entry, coat check, accessibility and the nearest subway are not confirmed in the listing.

Refunds

DICE: refund within 24 hours of purchase (not within 24 hours of the event), or if the event is cancelled or rescheduled
