About the party

Lost in Paradise Rooftop in Long Island City hosts its weekly Friday reggaeton party on Nov 20, presented by AIM Hospitality. Doors open at 10 PM and the night runs until 2 AM Saturday. The venue bills itself as a rooftop and lounge on 43rd Avenue in Queens.

What to expect

A rooftop lounge night where general admission sits alongside table and bottle service. The dress code rules out Timbs, flip flops and gym clothes, and a ticket does not guarantee entry: the doorman has the final say. My take: suited to groups who want a Queens rooftop night with Latin music and the option of a table as a home base.

Music and lineup

The title promises reggaeton, while the description speaks of Latin music more broadly. No DJs are named and set times are not published.

Before you go

Doors at 10 PM, end listed as 2 AM, 21+ with a valid, unexpired physical ID: a US state driver's license or non-driver ID, a passport from any country, or a US military ID. One part of the listing leaves military ID off its accepted list, so a license or passport is the safer choice. Photos of IDs are refused. Have your digital ticket ready to scan at the door. Whether the rooftop is covered or heated is not stated; re-entry and coat check are not confirmed.

Refunds (DICE): refund within 24 hours of purchase (not within 24 hours of the event), or if the event is cancelled or rescheduled

Before the party: happy hours nearby

Happy hours within a short walk of Lost in Paradise Rooftop that run on Friday before doors, with the deal as published.

The Beast Next Door Cafe & Bar · 8 min walk
$2.00 off drinks · 4pm–7pm

Questions

Is there a dress code?

Yes: no Timbs, flip flops or gym attire.

Does my ticket guarantee entry?

No. The listing says entry is at the doorman's discretion.

How do tables work?

Tables are sold as a deposit that does not count toward the minimum spend, and the minimum spend excludes tax and gratuity. The venue also takes table reservations directly.

Who is DJing?

Not confirmed.

Can I get a refund?

Terms differ by seller. DICE lists a 24-hour window after purchase and refunds for cancellation or rescheduling; the venue's text says all sales are final.
