About the party
Omar+, the London DJ and producer, returns to New York for an extended set at Knockdown Center in Maspeth, Queens, on Saturday, January 30. The listing points to his recent sold-out tours, debuts at Coachella and Red Rocks, and a Mixmag Top Breakthrough DJs nod.
What to expect
A big warehouse night built around one long set that the listing says will move through every side of his catalog, from vocal-led tracks to peak-time club records. It was sold out on DICE when we checked. My take: this is for fans of vocal house who want the extended version, not a festival hour.
Music and lineup
House, with Omar+'s own R&B-inspired vocals, per the listing, which names tracks such as Back It Up with Josh Baker and Make Believe with Luke Dean. Support acts are not announced, and set times are not published.
Listed on DICE: Omar+.
