About the party
Patrick Topping plays open to close at REFUGE in East Williamsburg, Brooklyn, on Wednesday, December 30, 2026, starting at 8 PM, with tickets sold on Eventbrite. Gray Area lists the same night on its calendar as Patrick Topping Open-To-Close. The format is the point: one DJ for the whole night instead of a bill of short sets.
What to expect
A single-artist night on Refuge's sound system, which the listing describes as REX, a custom four-point system with four 10-foot stacks around the dance floor in a 500-capacity room. It falls the night before New Year's Eve; no theme or dress code is stated. My take: for people who want a long Patrick Topping set in a mid-size room during the holiday week.
