   A bar with a rooftop on Cypress Avenue in Bushwick, about three minutes on foot from The Chocolate Factory and four from Elsewhere and SILO Brooklyn. Its happy hour runs Tuesday through Friday in the early evening, Wednesday included, and takes money off everything, the simplest deal on this list. Jefferson Street on the L is four minutes away, so it works as the meeting point before any of the three Bushwick parties.

   A bar on Wyckoff Avenue, a minute from Jefferson Street on the L and about four minutes from Elsewhere. Its weekday happy hour, Wednesday included, runs in the early evening and leans on food combos: Korean crispy boneless chicken with disco potatoes and a Sura Spritz, vegetable kimbap with two shots of soju, or a crispy miso cod taco with a white peach highball. Eat here before a long night. Reservations are on Resy.

   The bar on Bushwick Avenue that hosts Date Nite: Vinyl Happy Hour on Thanksgiving Eve, a minute from Montrose Avenue on the L. Its regular happy hour runs every day until the early evening and takes money off all drinks, so you can catch the deal and the records in one stop. Post No Bills is next door for a second round, and The Meadows is about a six-minute walk.

   A bar on Bushwick Avenue next door to Sleepwalk, one minute from Montrose Avenue on the L. Its happy hour runs every day and lasts into the evening, later than most picks here, with drafts, Budweiser and Miller High Life, well drinks, house cocktails, a beer and shot, margaritas in grapefruit, cucumber jalapeno, fresh lime and elderflower versions, and a Negroni. The Meadows is about a six-minute walk.

   A pub on Kent Avenue about two minutes on foot from Superior Ingredients, where Flashback with Louie Vega plays on Thanksgiving Eve. Happy hour runs Monday to Friday from late afternoon into the early evening, with the house Kent Pilsner, and the bar also lists an all-night mystery beer or seltzer with a shot, at the bartender's choice. Bedford Avenue on the L is seven minutes away.

   A cocktail bar on Eleventh Avenue in West Chelsea, about four minutes on foot from Marquee New York, where Twinsick plays on Thanksgiving Eve. Happy hour runs every day from the afternoon into the early evening, Wednesday included, with a list of house cocktails: a salty dog, a daiquiri, a porn star martini, a dirty martini and a Tommy's margarita. 34th Street-Hudson Yards on the 7 is six minutes away.

How to plan the night

Work backward from the party. Most of the Thanksgiving Eve nights on our list open their doors between 9 and 11 p.m., and the happy hours near them end by the early evening, with Post No Bills the late exception. That leaves a gap, and it is the right gap: first round on a deal, then dinner, then the walk over.

Stay in one neighborhood. The seven parties fall into three clusters, and every pick below is within a few minutes on foot of at least one venue. Crossing from Chelsea to Bushwick mid-night costs you time you will want later.

Bushwick: three dance floors near Jefferson Street

Bushwick has the deepest Thanksgiving Eve lineup on our list, with three venues within a couple of minutes of each other off the Jefferson Street L stop. DayBreak is at Elsewhere, Tony Guerra and Luquez b2b Maria Sifontes play a house night at SILO Brooklyn, and Soul In The Horn with Natasha Diggs and Friends brings disco, funk, soul, hip-hop and house to The Chocolate Factory. All three open at 10 p.m.

For the pre-game, Vacations Bar & Rooftop is the closest pick to all three, and SURA on Wyckoff Avenue is the one to choose if you need to eat. Little Beaver on St Nicholas Avenue and Dive Bar BK on Troutman Street also run Wednesday happy hours nearby, but they list times without published offers.

Williamsburg: from vinyl to reggaeton to Louie Vega

The Williamsburg side gives you the earliest start and the widest spread of music. Date Nite: Vinyl Happy Hour at Sleepwalk on Bushwick Avenue is a funk and soul night that starts at 6 p.m., the only early-evening party on our list for November 25. Next door, Post No Bills keeps its happy hour going into the evening. Later, Reggaeton Throwbacks opens at The Meadows on Meadow Street at 11 p.m., about six minutes on foot from both bars.

Near the waterfront, Flashback with Louie Vega plays disco and house at Superior Ingredients on Wythe Avenue from 9 p.m. Kent Ale House is two minutes away for a first round. The Montrose Avenue and Bedford Avenue stops are both on the L, so you can do the vinyl hour early and still ride over to Wythe Avenue for Louie Vega.

Chelsea: one Manhattan option

If you would rather stay in Manhattan, Twinsick at Marquee New York on Tenth Avenue is the one Thanksgiving Eve party on our list there, with doors at 11 p.m. Porchlight on Eleventh Avenue is about four minutes away and runs its happy hour every day. Bar Avant Apres Bar on West 26th Street also lists a daily happy hour nearby, without published offers.

Getting home, and Thanksgiving Day

The MTA says the subway runs 24 hours a day, every day, but not every line runs at all times, and late-night routes can change. Check the MTA app before you leave the party. The Brooklyn picks here sit on the L, according to their listings, and Porchlight is closest to the 7 at 34th Street-Hudson Yards.

Thursday, November 26, is Thanksgiving Day, a federal holiday on the OPM schedule and a holiday on New York City's 2026 holiday calendar. If you want to keep going, Groundcontrol Presents: Thanksgiving with KOFLA and Cristian Arango plays Superior Ingredients on Thursday night. Happy hours on the holiday itself are a different story, so check the cards before you count on one.

The Thanksgiving date comes from the U.S. Office of Personnel Management's federal holiday schedule and New York City's 2026 holiday calendar, and subway hours from the MTA's rider guide, all checked October 23, 2026. Parties come from our published party listings for November 25 and 26, 2026, with venue addresses from our venue records; party times are shown in New York time. Bars come from our database of New York happy hours, which records each bar's schedule and offers from its own website. We counted bars with a Wednesday happy hour within about 500 meters of each party venue, measured straight-line at about 80 meters a minute. The six picks were last checked between September 2 and October 21, 2026.
