Saturday, Dec 26 Afrobeat Nights NYC

About the party

Afrobeat Nights NYC takes over The Sultan Room in Bushwick on Saturday, Dec 26. The Sultan Room presents the night, which the organizers frame as a global, culture-first dance party built on Afrobeats, Amapiano and related sounds.

What to expect

The listing centers on the music and on group celebrations: birthday plans and table or bottle service are arranged by text with the promoter. No theme or dress code is given. My take: a good pick for dancers who want a full night of Afrobeats and Amapiano in a mid-size Bushwick room.

Music and lineup

Genres named by the promoter: Afrobeats, Amapiano, Afrohouse, Gqom and Dancehall. No DJs are named on DICE or in the description, so the lineup and set times are not confirmed.
