About the party

CRUD0, a New York crew with roots in Bogotá, presents Sound of Bogotá at SILO Brooklyn in Bushwick on Thursday night, Nov 12, from 10 PM to 4 AM. The edition brings three Colombian DJs from different generations of the city's techno scene. CRUD0 frames its parties around long hours, serious sound and a protected dance floor.

What to expect

A techno night with a clear point of view: a showcase of how Bogotá's scene has evolved, from early-2000s club culture to its current sound. My take: for dancers who want a long weeknight session of Colombian techno rather than a casual drop-in.

Music and lineup

Selectors named in the title and description: Paula Vélez, active since 2005 with roots in acid techno and vinyl; Varju, who plays hypnotic, atmospheric and raw techno; and Giovani, active since 2000, whose selections draw from electro, techno, house and breaks. DICE's structured performer field is empty, and set times are not listed.
