Saturday, Oct 24 Check In to Check Out: WAKE UP CALL

About the party

Wake Up Call is a Saturday afternoon party in the courtyard of Sela V Hotel, 29 Ryerson Street in Fort Greene, part of the Check In to Check Out weekend (Oct 23 to 25) from Robot Heart, Ashram Galactica and City of Gods. Ashram Galactica hosts with JunXion on Oct 24, from 2 PM to 10 PM. The quirk is a room raffle at 6:30 PM: four winners each get a Sela V room for the night, decorated and with Ashram's concierge service.

What to expect

The organizers describe a relaxed lounge mood with special musical performances and curated cocktails, rather than a peak-time club night. Sleepwear is the suggested look, with a lookbook linked from the listing; it is encouraged, not required. My take: for people who want an easy daytime start to the weekend with a playful pajama theme.

Music and lineup

The listing mentions special musical performances but names no artists or genres, and does not say whether they are DJ sets or live acts. The lineup is not confirmed.

Before you go

Runs 2 PM to 10 PM on Saturday, Oct 24, in the hotel courtyard. The event is 21+. Pick up a raffle ticket early if you want a shot at a room; the draw is at 6:30 PM.
