DJ and musician Steen hosts Open Decks at SILO Brooklyn, 90 Scott Avenue in Bushwick, on Wednesday, November 4. This is the full venue edition: it uses the whole space, runs an hour longer than usual, and brings back three local collectives as co-hosts, Timeless Nexus, Bojaq and Lordoflimbo. DICE lists it from 7 PM to 3 AM.

What to expect

A community night where DJs come to hang out and take turns playing house and techno. Slots are 12 minutes each, so the music changes hands often. My take: this is for DJs who want to play out in a full club space and friends who like watching new selectors, and anyone hoping to play should get there early because slots go quickly.
