About the party

WAVCRASH throws its Halloween party on the new rooftop lounge at Niku on West 35th Street in Midtown on Saturday, October 31. The draw is the setting: the rooftop has a view of the Empire State Building. The promoter describes the music as tech house.

What to expect

Costumes are encouraged, and the night moves between the open-air deck and the indoor space depending on the weather. My take: a fit for people who want a Halloween night with a skyline view and a steady tech house soundtrack, more than a specific headliner.

Music and lineup

Tech house, per the promoter. The DJ lineup has not been announced yet, so no artists are confirmed. Set times are not confirmed.

Before you go

Doors open at 9 PM, and the event is 21+. The listing ends at 4 AM; clocks fall back an hour that night, so that is 4 AM standard time. The open-air part depends on the weather. Dress code beyond costumes being welcome, re-entry, coat check and accessibility are not confirmed.

Refunds: DICE: refund within 24 hours of purchase (not within 24 hours of the event), or if the event is cancelled or rescheduled
