Saturday, Nov 7 AFROJAM FIRST SATURDAY : NIGERIA INDEPENDENCE EDITION

About the party

AFROJAM's First Saturday series comes to Acoustik Garden Lounge in Bed-Stuy on Saturday, November 7, under the name Nigeria Independence Edition. Spyon plays with a guest DJ, working through Afro-rooted beats and global rhythms from doors onward. AFROJAMEVENTS is the presenter.

What to expect

The promoter pitches it as a night for dancing, meeting people and hearing something new, with the energy kept high. The listing does not explain what the Nigeria Independence theme adds, and no dress code or production is mentioned. My take: for an Afrobeats-leaning crowd looking for a Saturday dance night in Brooklyn.

Music and lineup

Confirmed DJ: Spyon, named in the description; the DICE performer field lists both SPYON and Spyon Vincent, which may be the same artist (not confirmed). A guest DJ is mentioned but not named. Music as the promoter describes it: Afro-inspired beats and global rhythms. Set times are not confirmed.

Listed on DICE: SPYON, Spyon Vincent.
