Saturday, Oct 17 AFROJAM: THE AFROHOUSE SOCIAL

About the party

AFROJAM: The Afrohouse Social is a Saturday night at Acoustik Garden Lounge on Atlantic Avenue in Brooklyn, on October 17, from 9 PM to 2 AM. The organizers pitch it as a refined, social night built around Afrohouse and deeper electronic sounds, with cocktails at the center.

What to expect

An intimate lounge setting with signature cocktails, music meant to move people without overpowering conversation, and a mixed crowd of couples, friends and people out to meet someone new. The organizers ask guests to come dressed with intention, which reads as encouragement rather than a stated dress code. Group reservations and bottle service go through the venue. My take: good for a birthday or a social night out with Afrohouse in the background and on the floor.

Music and lineup

DICE lists Spyon Vincent as the performer. The organizers name Afrohouse, Deep House, AfroTech, 3Step, Melodic House and global electronic sounds. Set times are not confirmed.
