Friday, Oct 16 Alex Wann - Friends In High Places

About the party

Alex Wann plays the season finale of Friends In High Places, a weekly Friday rooftop series at Westlight, twenty-three floors up on top of The William Vale in Williamsburg. The series is built around open-air house music with views across to the Manhattan skyline, carrying the evening from golden hour into night.

What to expect

A sunset-to-night rooftop session with a full bar for cocktails, beer and wine, limited seating, and table bottle service for groups. The organizer calls this Friday the season finale. My take: this is for people who want house music with a view early in the evening, not a late-night club.

Music and lineup

Published artist: Alex Wann (DICE). The organizer describes the series as an open-air house music experience with live DJs. A supporting lineup and set times are not confirmed.

Listed on DICE: Alex Wann.

Before you go

DICE lists 5 PM to 11 PM for this date; the series description also gives its general hours as 5 PM to midnight, so the exact finish is not confirmed. 21+ with a physical government ID. Westlight is reached only by elevator, and the organizer recommends arriving by 6:30 PM because lines can build. Tickets or table reservations are required. In bad weather, programming moves indoors. Re-entry and coat check are not confirmed. Address: 111 N 12th Street, Brooklyn.
