Saturday, Oct 31 Blood Moon Ascent Halloween

About the party

House Code takes its Blood Moon Ascent party up to Rory's Rooftop at 446 West 14th Street in Manhattan on Saturday, October 31, starting at 9 PM New York time. The pitch is height: an enclosed rooftop with views across the New York skyline for the Saturday of Halloween weekend.

What to expect

Because the rooftop is enclosed, the late October weather should matter less than at an open-air deck. The promoter describes a dance floor kept full from start to finish. Costumes are encouraged but explicitly not required. My take: suited to people who want a Halloween night with a skyline backdrop and house music, without committing to a full costume.

Music and lineup

The DICE description promises house music all night from a rotating lineup of DJs. None of those DJs are named, so the lineup is not confirmed, and set times are not listed.

Before you go

Doors open at 9 PM on October 31 and DICE lists the end as 2 AM the next morning, New York time. Entry is 21+. The description says all sales are final, which conflicts with the 24-hour cooling-off window in DICE's refund field. DICE shows no door sales. Group reservations and questions go to House Code by email. Re-entry, coat check, accessibility and the nearest subway are not confirmed.

Refunds

DICE: refund within 24 hours of purchase (not within 24 hours of the event), or if the event is cancelled or rescheduled
