About the party

Jupiter Disco in Bushwick opens its two-night Halloween run on Friday, Oct 30, with an early session from 7 PM to 11 PM. The description names Ayanna Heaven, Akanbi, Lafhomme and Say3, and wraps the night in a sci-fi Halloween theme of spaceships and aliens. Part II follows on Oct 31 with a different lineup.

What to expect

The promoter promises hard-hitting beats, heavy bass and eerie sounds, and jokes about Frankenstein costumes and alien masks; a required dress code is not stated. Jupiter Disco says capacity is very limited and only a few tickets will be held for the door. My take: an early Halloween stop for bass-minded dancers that still leaves Friday night open for a second plan.

Music and lineup

Named in the description: Ayanna Heaven, Akanbi, Lafhomme and Say3. The title lists three of them and DICE's performer field lists Ayanna Heaven, Akanbi and Say3, so the description is the fullest version. The promoter describes beats, bass and eerie sounds rather than genres. Set times are not confirmed.

Listed on DICE: Ayanna Heaven, Akanbi, Say3.
