About the party
Friends ! is a Saturday night at Jupiter Disco, 1237 Flushing Avenue in Bushwick, on Oct 24, with Prezzo, Uma DJ and Boatneck on the title bill. It marks Prezzo's Jupiter Disco debut, while others on the bill are described as familiar faces returning. The description also adds N.B. Rhythm and Majii as openers, making it a five-name night from 10 PM to 4 AM.
What to expect
The promoter lays out a running order that builds from dancer-led openers to a peak-time set and a closing run, with the regulars on the floor in mind. No theme or dress code is mentioned. My take: a strong Saturday for house dancers who like a lineup with a clear arc.
Music and lineup
Per the description: N.B. Rhythm and Majii, both dancers in the New Jersey crew Los Wachos, open; Boatneck follows, moving from melancholic house to deep dub; Prezzo, head of Groove Trackers, plays his Jupiter debut; UMA DJ, co-founder of DANCE DANCE and Foundation of Funk, closes. Exact set times are not confirmed.
