About the party

Threads makes its first appearance at Jupiter Disco on Flushing Avenue in Bushwick on Sunday, Oct 25, from 7 PM to 2 AM. The title names DJ Linda, DJ Otomi and Mercury Vibration, and the promoter says all three play only vinyl. The concept is the darker side of the dance floor: electro, techno, EBM, industrial and acid.

What to expect

The description points to a dark atmosphere with driving bass and heavy percussion, with no theme or production beyond the music. My take: for listeners who want electro and EBM played from records on a Sunday, not a gentle wind-down.

Music and lineup

DJs named in the title: DJ Linda, DJ Otomi and Mercury Vibration. DICE's performer field is empty, so the names come from the title only. Styles described by the promoter: electro, techno, EBM, industrial and acid, all on vinyl. Running order and set times are not confirmed.
