Saturday, Oct 31 HOMOWEEN

About the party

C'mon Everybody hosts HOMOWEEN, the Halloween edition of Yes Homo, at its bar and venue on Franklin Avenue in Brooklyn on Saturday, October 31. The night pairs drag shows by Miz Jade, Odessa Da Gawd and Eugene RideHer with DJ sets by Sean McMahill, and a costume contest with a cash prize. DICE lists it from 10:30 PM to 4 AM.

What to expect

A queer Halloween party built around drag performances, a dance floor and a costume contest, so coming in costume is the way to compete. My take: for people who want a neighborhood drag-and-dance Halloween with real stakes on their costume.

Music and lineup

DJ sets by Sean McMahill, as named in the DICE description. Shows by Miz Jade, Odessa Da Gawd and Eugene RideHer. No genre description or set times are published.

Before you go

Doors and start at 10:30 PM on October 31, listed end at 4 AM. Strictly 21+, and the venue does not accept photos of IDs or passports. The venue says coat check runs seasonally (closed in summer), and its entrance, exits, bar, dance floor and bathroom are wheelchair accessible, with two ADA booths in the lounge. DICE lists door sales. Re-entry is not confirmed.
