About the party
Downstairs at Purgatory in Bushwick turns into Nightbreed on Thursday, October 29: an early evening of synth, post punk, goth and 80s sleaze for queer bats, as the listing puts it. The night runs from 8 PM to midnight.
What to expect
Costumes and spooky wear are encouraged, not required. The listing's tagline is 'What is below, stays below,' and the party sits in the downstairs space. My take: a good fit for a goth-leaning queer crowd who want a dark dance night that wraps up by midnight.
