Thursday, Oct 29 Gaydar Halloween

About the party

The Gaydar crew brings its Halloween edition to House of Yes in Bushwick on Thursday, October 29. The night mixes DJ sets with drag, a headline drag performance by Anania and a midnight costume contest. It runs from 10 PM to 4 AM, two nights before Halloween itself.

What to expect

The listing asks guests to come in costume and pitches the night as spooky and sexy. The midnight costume contest has three categories (sexiest, spookiest, silliest) and is judged by Michelladonna, TimaLikesMusic and Anania. Amelia Montooth hosts, with drag performances by Mx. Ology and Bertha Vanayshun. My take: a strong pick for a queer crowd that wants a show and a dance floor in the same night.

Music and lineup

DJ sets by Ellen.J and TimaLikesMusic, per the event description. The description also promises unnamed special guests. Genres and set times are not confirmed.

Listed on DICE: Anania.
