About the party
Home & Abroad, an Afro-centric global dance and drum party, comes to The Sultan Room, 234 Starr St in Bushwick, Brooklyn, on Friday, November 6, 2026. DICE lists it from 11 PM to 4 AM, presented by The Sultan Room.
What to expect
The crew describes itself as DJs, percussionists and dancers working together, somewhere between a DJ-led dance party and a live music performance. Followers have called it a place of belonging, healing and dance joy, per the organizers. My take: for dancers who like live drums layered over DJ sets.
Music and lineup
The listing names no individual artists. The crew covers sounds from the African continent, the Caribbean and Latin America, per the description, with live percussion alongside DJs. Set times are not published.
