Friday, Oct 16 Jan Blomqvist, Parallelle, Kanykei

About the party

Knockdown Center puts Jan Blomqvist at the top of a Friday night bill in its Main Hall on October 16, with Parallelle and Kanykei alongside him. The listing frames it as Blomqvist's long-awaited Knockdown Center debut, shared with the Dutch act Parallelle, while New York's Kanykei rounds out the night.

What to expect

A big-room Friday in Maspeth built around one headliner known for cinematic electronic productions, according to the venue's description. No theme or dress code is listed. My take: a good pick if you already follow Blomqvist's melodic sound and want to see him in a large industrial space.
