Friday, Oct 23 Ginja

About the party

GINJA, a party celebrating the African diaspora, takes over SILO in Bushwick on Friday, October 23, from 10 PM to 4 AM. DICE lists it as presented by SILO Brooklyn and Furtado Global.

What to expect

A late Friday dance night focused on Afro sounds in a club that sets out a clear safer-space policy: no harassment, no unwanted contact, and staff trained to step in. Tables can be booked through SILO. My take: for people who want Afrobeats and Amapiano in a proper club room until 4 AM.

Music and lineup

DICE lists Ethan Tomas as the performer. The promoter names Afrobeats, Amapiano and Afrohouse, 'and more'. Set times and any other DJs are not confirmed.

Listed on DICE: Ethan Tomas.
