In short: 723 bars in NYC run a happy hour on Mondays, 493 with the deal spelled out. The cheapest drink we have on file: $1 at Papacito's. Most start at 4pm. Most are in Midtown, Upper West Side, East Village.
Monday happy hour in NYC is easier to find than the day's reputation suggests. Most bars on our list run a deal on Mondays, a little fewer than midweek, because a share of restaurants either close on Mondays or begin their week of discounts on Tuesday. Manhattan holds most of them, led by the East Village, Times Square and the Upper West Side, while Williamsburg and Astoria are the busiest pockets in Brooklyn and Queens.
Expect the classic after-work format: a window that opens in the afternoon and closes in the early evening, with draft beer, house wine and well drinks at a set price. A few places treat Monday as a day of its own, like The Hunterian on the Upper East Side, and a small group of late-night deals in Gramercy, Murray Hill and around Times Square restart on Sunday and run through the early part of the week. Tip: most Monday windows close in the early evening, so leave work on time or plan around one of the late-night spots.
Draft beer $2 off · Wine by the glass $9
Mon all day · Tue–Sun open to 7pm · 413 East 70th Street
The Hunterian is a wine-leaning bar on East 70th Street, and its own deal text calls Monday an all-day happy hour, with other days running from opening into the early evening. Draft beer, wine by the glass and well shots are on the list. The Q at 72nd Street is about five minutes away, and there is no booking link, so just walk in.

$2 off draft
Mon–Fri 3pm–7pm · 3625 Kingsbridge Avenue
Kingsbridge Social Club sits a one-minute walk from the 238th Street stop on the 1 in the northwest Bronx. Its happy hour runs Monday through Friday from mid-afternoon, with a discount on draft beer and calabrian honey wings at a set price; the deal text also lists meatballs and a fried eggplant roll-up.

$5 well mixed drinks
Mon–Fri 2pm–7pm · 35-07 31st Avenue
Hutch Astoria on 31st Avenue opens its weekday happy hour in the early afternoon, earlier than most Monday deals on our list, and keeps it going into the evening. The offer is simple: well mixed drinks at a set price. Its listed hours run late every night, and the 30th Avenue stop on the N and W is about six minutes away.

Mon–Fri 11am–7pm · Mon–Thu, Sun 10pm–4am · 244 3rd Avenue
For a Monday that starts late, Barfly on 3rd Avenue in Gramercy runs a late-night happy hour Sunday through Thursday that lasts into the small hours. It is a sports bar, and the list covers Coors Light draft, beer and shot combos with Jameson or Screwball, Altos tequila and a spicy margarita. The 6 at 23rd Street is five minutes away.

Chianti & Pinot Grigio Wines $10.00 · Aperol Spritz $12.00
Mon–Fri 3pm–6pm · 136 W Broadway
Edward's, an American restaurant at 136 West Broadway in Tribeca, lists a Monday afternoon happy hour with one catch from its own deal text: it skips the last Monday of each month. Our listing has no itemized offers, so ask at the bar what is included. Chambers Street on the 1, 2 and 3 is two minutes away, and reservations are available.
Deal checked Nov 1, 2026 on the bar's own site.
Our Monday count trails Tuesday through Thursday by dozens of bars. Most of the gap comes from places whose deals run Tuesday to Friday or Tuesday to Sunday, such as Monarch in Williamsburg and Hello Bar Bk in Crown Heights. On the other side, Walters and Karasu in Fort Greene and Sweet Afton in Astoria keep a Monday-to-Thursday schedule, so Monday is one of four chances to catch them. Late-night deals that restart on Sunday, including Barfly and Meller's Sports Hub & Grill, count Monday in as well.
Prices on our pages are before the 8.875 percent sales tax, and a tip of 18 to 20 percent is expected on top. Several Monday deals, Karasu's sake among them, apply only at the bar, so grab a stool. Each listing shows when we last checked it; take a look before you head out.
