Pubs by the hour

Most pubs here open their deal in the late afternoon and close it in the early evening on weekdays. A few go longer: Jack Demsey's, Sefton and The Wolfe start in the late morning or at lunchtime. Some run late instead, among them Tanner Smith's and Bartley Dunne's near Times Square and Blue Haven in Murray Hill. The Malt House in Greenwich Village is the weekend outlier, with a Saturday and Sunday daytime deal.
