In short: 343 bars in NYC run a happy hour on Sundays, 229 with the deal spelled out. The cheapest drink we have on file: $1 at Papacito's. Most start at 4pm. Most are in Upper West Side, East Village, Hell's Kitchen.
Sunday has more happy hours than Saturday on our list, partly because a common schedule runs Sunday through Thursday and skips Friday and Saturday. Manhattan has most of the Sunday options, led by Times Square, the Upper West Side, the East Village and the Upper East Side. Williamsburg leads Brooklyn, and Queens has a smaller group.
A Sunday happy hour in NYC comes in three forms on our list. Some places stretch the window on Sunday, like The Factory 380 in Kips Bay, which runs late into the night. Others open their Sunday-to-Thursday stretch with a regular early-evening window, as at Ella Social on the Upper West Side and The Green Room PLG on Rogers Avenue in Brooklyn. And a few late-night bars, such as Meller's Sports Hub on the Upper East Side, run from late evening into the small hours from Sunday through Thursday. Tip: El Coco in Chelsea starts its deal around lunchtime, which makes it a handy follow-up to brunch.
Frozen cocktails (Frozen Marg, Pina Colada, Miami Vice) $12 · Signature cocktails $10
Mon–Thu 4pm–8pm · Fri 3pm–8pm · Sun 4pm–2am · 380 3rd Ave
The Factory 380 on Third Avenue in Kips Bay runs its longest happy hour on Sunday, from late afternoon until late at night, on top of a weekday window. Frozen and signature cocktails are on the list, along with a martini combo the restaurant calls the Happy Meal, with truffle parm fries on the side. It is four minutes from the 28th Street 6, and OpenTable takes reservations.

Many bars on our list run Sunday through Thursday and skip Friday and Saturday. El Coco, Ella Social, The Green Room PLG, Coffee + Cocktails in the West Village and No No No in Midtown all follow it. That means a Sunday visit often gets the same deal you would find on a Tuesday, which is not true of Saturday.
On Sunday, as on any day, menu prices exclude NYC's 8.875 percent sales tax and a tip of 18 to 20 percent. Late-night deals like Meller's start well after dinner, and Kingston Hall's earlier start applies only on Sunday. Check the last-checked date on each listing before heading out.
