In short: 5 bars in Forest Hills, Queens run a happy hour, 3 with the deal spelled out. The cheapest drink we have on file: $7 at Cobblestones Pub and Biergarten. Most start at 3pm. Most are near the E, F, M, R trains.
Forest Hills sits in central Queens along Queens Boulevard, with Austin Street as its main shopping strip and the Forest Hills–71st Avenue station as its transit hub. Our Forest Hills happy hour list is short and strung along that corridor. Rove and Tap House share a block of Austin Street, a few minutes from 71st Avenue. Guantanamera is farther east on Queens Boulevard by the 75th Avenue stop, and Cobblestones Pub and Biergarten is out near Union Turnpike, at the Kew Gardens edge of the neighborhood.
The deals here are simple: draft beer, wine and mixed drinks at a set price, plus caipirinhas, mojitos and piña coladas at Guantanamera. Most of them are weekday affairs. Rove is the exception on Austin Street, with wine and beer specials every day, Saturday and Sunday included. Guantanamera's window opens at midday and closes before the after-work rush, so it suits a late lunch better than a drink after the office.

Delirium is left out of the beer deal.

Tap House is on the same block of Austin Street at number 72-07, four minutes from the Forest Hills–71st Avenue station. Happy hour runs Monday to Friday from late afternoon to early evening. Forest Hills–71st Avenue is the main station, with E, F, M and R service and step-free access, and both Austin Street bars are within five minutes of it. The E and F also stop at 75th Avenue, steps from Guantanamera, and at Kew Gardens–Union Turnpike, an accessible station two minutes from Cobblestones. Everything on this list is a short walk from Queens Boulevard.
New York adds 8.875 percent sales tax to the prices you see, and an 18 to 20 percent tip is the norm. Cobblestones keeps its wing deal to dine-in guests, and other places may limit deals to the bar, so ask. Check the date we last verified each bar on its page, since happy hours can change.
