In short: 9 bars in Ridgewood, Queens run a happy hour, 3 with the deal spelled out. The cheapest drink we have on file: $5 at The Bad Old Days. Most start at 4pm. Most are near the M, L trains.
Ridgewood is the Queens neighborhood on the Brooklyn line, directly east of Bushwick, and the elevated M runs straight through it. Our list for Ridgewood happy hour stays close to that line. Bar Freda on Seneca Avenue and Ltauha on Myrtle Avenue sit near the Seneca Avenue stop, while Hellbender on Forest Avenue and Cozy Corner on 70th Avenue are nearer Forest Avenue. One more is on the L side: pán on Decatur Street, a short walk from Halsey Street.
Restaurants outnumber bars here, and the deals tend to pair a drink with something to eat: oysters at pán, a free slice at Cozy Corner, margaritas at Hellbender. Cozy Corner, pán and Ltauha run happy hour every day, so Saturday and Sunday are covered. Hellbender has the shortest window of the group and runs it on weekdays only, so arrive straight from work if that is your stop.

Hellbender is a restaurant at 68-22 Forest Avenue with a brief weekday happy hour built around margaritas: a classic, a pineapple version and a margarita with soda.
