In short: 13 bars in Tribeca, Manhattan run a happy hour, 10 with the deal spelled out. The cheapest drink we have on file: $5 at Benares. Most start at 3pm. Most are near the 2, 3, 1, A trains.
Tribeca, the Triangle Below Canal Street, runs from Canal Street down to around Chambers Street, between Broadway and the Hudson River. Our bars cluster at its southern end. Chambers and Reade Streets hold Artesano, Mudville and Bar 135, each a minute from a Chambers Street station, and Park Place, a few blocks south, adds Brickyard Craft Kitchen and Bar and Benares. Farther north, West Broadway, Church Street and Sixth Avenue near the Franklin Street stop on the 1 bring in Filé Gumbo Bar and The Plaza At The Roxy.
Happy hour in Tribeca is mostly a weekday, after-work deal, with a couple that start much earlier: Artesano opens its window at midday, and Brickyard runs from late morning into the evening. Expect draft beer, house wine and margaritas, and more food than usual, from char-grilled oysters and Cajun wings at Filé Gumbo Bar to sliders at Brickyard. Benares is the one daily option in the core. Our Tribeca list also pulls in a few addresses outside the neighborhood, so check each one before you go.
House Lager $7.00 · House White Wine $5.00
