In short: 41 bars in Greenwich Village, Manhattan run a happy hour, 29 with the deal spelled out. The cheapest drink we have on file: $5 at Pepe Rosso. Most start at 4pm. Most are near the 1, F, M, B trains.
Greenwich Village spreads out from Washington Square Park, roughly between 14th Street and Houston Street on Manhattan's west side. Our list falls into three pockets. One sits around the park on West 8th Street, West 3rd Street and Bleecker Street, close to the West 4th Street–Washington Square station and its A, B, C, D, E, F and M trains. A second follows Seventh Avenue South down to Carmine, Cornelia and Downing Streets, and a third lines Hudson Street on the western edge. The 1 train covers those last two at Christopher Street–Stonewall and Houston Street.
Happy hour in Greenwich Village is a mix of wine bars, pubs and small restaurants, and drinks lead: house wine, drafts, spritzes and a handful of cocktails. Oysters turn up on several lists, at 8th Street Winecellar, Lelabar and APERITIVO by CARTA. Weekdays carry most of the deals, but The Grey Dog, Lelabar, The Leroy House and North Square run theirs every day. Little Havana, Arvine and Bobo restrict the deal to the bar or a back room, so ask where to sit when you walk in.
Select bottles $32 · Select glasses $11

Our listing shows no booking link, so plan to walk in.

$12 japerol spritz
Mon–Fri 4pm–6pm · 531 Hudson St
Katana Kitten is a cocktail bar at 531 Hudson Street with a Japanese bent to its weekday happy hour: a japerol spritz made with shochu and Aperol, a few other cocktails using sake and yuzu, and food such as edamame. It runs Monday through Friday in the late afternoon. The Christopher Street–Stonewall stop is four minutes away, and our listing has no booking link.
Deal checked Oct 27, 2026 on the bar's own site.
West 4th Street–Washington Square is the big transfer point, with the A, C and E on the Eighth Avenue line and the B, D, F and M on the Sixth Avenue line; it is closest to the bars around the park and on Bleecker and Cornelia Streets. The 1 runs down Seventh Avenue South, stopping at Christopher Street–Stonewall, nearest to the West 10th and West 4th Street bars, and at Houston Street, which serves Carmine Street and Hudson Street. From the north, the 14th Street stations on the 1, 2, 3, F, M and L put APERITIVO by CARTA within a short walk.
The 8.875 percent New York sales tax is not included in menu prices, and an 18 to 20 percent tip goes on top of that. In the Village, bar-only rules are common: Little Havana, Arvine and Bobo all limit where the deal applies. Look at the date we last confirmed each happy hour on its page before heading out, because small places here change their menus without much notice.
