In short: 11 bars in Bed-Stuy, Brooklyn run a happy hour, 7 with the deal spelled out. The cheapest drink we have on file: $5 at Secret Pour. Most start at 4pm. Most are near the C, A, J, G trains.
Bedford-Stuyvesant covers a large swath of central Brooklyn, and our Bed-Stuy happy hour list spreads across it rather than bunching up on one strip. The central and eastern blocks have the biggest group: Bar LunAtico on Halsey Street, Therapy Wine Bar on Malcolm X Boulevard, Lucky's Cocktail Lounge on Marcus Garvey Boulevard, and BKB on Stuyvesant Avenue. Concrete sits on Broadway under the elevated J, M and Z, and The Holler is on the western edge near the Classon Avenue G.
Most of the places are bars rather than restaurants, and the deals are generous with time. Bar LunAtico, Lucky's, BKB and Therapy Wine Bar run every day, and Lucky's goes all day and into the night on Mondays. The A and C at Utica Avenue serve several of them, though each is a six- or seven-minute walk. Tip: Therapy Wine Bar's happy hour starts at lunchtime, every day, so it doubles as a weekend lunch plan.
